The 1 Day Comedy Competition at EAV Strut is a one-day stand-up comedy tournament taking place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Argosy's Brig Beer Parlor in East Atlanta Village during the East Atlanta Strut Festival. The competition will feature 14 selected comedians competing through three rounds—starting with a 3:30 PM qualifier, followed by a 5:30 PM semifinal, and concluding with an 8:00 PM final—to determine the event champion. Comedians who can perform at least five minutes of original material are invited to apply during the submission window of July 17 through August 14 for a $25 application fee. Accepted contestants will be notified by August 21, with the official lineup announced on August 28. Created to showcase emerging stand-up talent, provide meaningful stage time, and bring a unique comedy event to one of Atlanta's largest neighborhood festivals, the competition combines audience participation and judge evaluations to advance contestants through the day and ultimately crown a winner.

All contestants will receive a logo tee, drink tickets, and food and beverage throughout the day. Festival takes place during the East Atlanta Strut day festival where the streets are closed and its a day party all day with vendors, food, music and more.
